A tight-knit community of young families, Eitzen is perched right on the border of Minnesota and Iowa, surrounded by the rolling fields of family farms. Home to the annual Eitzen Family Fun Fest on July 4th, Eitzen celebrates a rich history of agriculture, baseball, and family-run businesses.

Council Message

Do you have a sump-pump?  Does it pump into the city sewer system?  If it does, please re-route it so that it pumps to the outdoors and not into the city sanitary sewer system.  Storm water drainage into a sanitary sewer system is prohibited by State Statute.

Be careful what you flush!  Disposable wipes and other non-degradable items do not work in the city sewer system.  Toilet paper and waste water work.
